If you are purchasing a readymade costume your little girl has her heart set on, she may want it that way. She may want to be recognized as Snow White or Red Riding Hood.

Choose one piece to invest the most money in and she will be the envy of all her friends. If she is a princess, get her a nice, sparkly tiara from an accessories store. If she is a maiden, find a well made basket and fill it with her favorite stuffed animals or real flowers.

While these kids costume ideas are somewhat standard, it can get rather expensive to veer too far from the costumes being sold in volume at your local stores. However, the cheep props that usually come with those costumes are often times the best things to substitute when searching kids costume ideas seem to all be the same.
